Event Deadlines, Production Lines, and New Partnerships - How MBL Connect Delivered in February
Dedicated Delivery Across Every Service Pillar
February put our operational model to the test - and the numbers speak for themselves. Across the month, our fleet coordinated dozens of time-critical movements nationwide, from sub-60-minute emergency manufacturing collections to precision event logistics at venues where delivery windows are measured in minutes, not hours.
What links every job this month is the same principle: one consignment, one dedicated vehicle, direct to destination. No exceptions.
Here is how that played out in February.
Event Logistics: The Velodrome and The Crucible
February brought a sporting theme to our operations. We supported one of our event clients with collections from two iconic UK venues:
- The National Cycling Centre (Velodrome) - Manchester's world-class cycling arena
- The Crucible Theatre - Sheffield's home of world championship snooker
Event logistics demands precision. Venues operate to strict schedules, load-in and load-out windows are non-negotiable, and equipment needs to arrive exactly when and where it's expected. A missed window doesn't mean a rescheduled slot - it means a failed delivery and a client scrambling to find a solution mid-event.
Our time-critical delivery capability made sure both jobs ran without a hitch.
Manufacturing: Increased Demand, Same Reliability
Our manufacturing clients stepped up their operations this month - and we matched them every step of the way.
The workload increase meant a significant rise in both planned and urgent movements. Some deliveries were booked well in advance as part of regular production schedules. Others came in as emergency requests, requiring collection and delivery within the hour.
Whether it's a pre-scheduled component run or an unplanned production line stoppage, the response is the same: a dedicated vehicle, a direct route, and delivery completed on time. No co-loading. No intermediate stops. No compromise.
February saw our fleet cover serious mileage across the length of the UK, keeping supply chains moving and production schedules on track.
New Partnerships
We welcomed several new businesses to the MBL Connect network this month. Many of these partnerships began with an urgent call when a standard courier network failed to deliver on time - a delayed production part, a missed event window, a consignment stuck in a multi-drop round with no ETA.
That first call is often the moment businesses realise the difference between a shared courier service and a dedicated one. Each of our new clients chose us for the same reason our existing partners stay: reliable, dedicated service that delivers when it matters most.
Growing our client base while maintaining the standard of service our current customers expect is something we take seriously. Every new partnership is built on the same operational commitment from day one.
In the Community: Walk the Premier League
Away from operations, MBL Connect proudly supported Walk the Premier League during the school half-term break - an initiative encouraging people to stay active by walking the equivalent distance between every Premier League stadium in the country.
The team got behind the campaign with on-the-ground support and shared progress updates throughout the week across our social media channels and website.
Operational performance drives our business. But supporting the communities we work in is part of how we operate as a company.
Looking Ahead
If February is anything to go by, 2026 is shaping up to be our strongest year yet. The demand for dedicated same-day delivery continues to grow, and our team is ready for whatever March brings.
