Passport delivery to Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport is around 16 miles from our base in Eccles, so it is the airport we reach fastest. If your passport is still at home anywhere in Greater Manchester, Cheshire or Lancashire, call us as soon as you notice — the earlier the call, the more options you have.

Collecting a new passport from a Passport Office
If you renew an adult passport with the 1 Day Premium service, the new passport is ready to collect from the passport office about 4 hours after your appointment. You can send someone else to collect it — including one of our drivers.
According to GOV.UK, the person collecting must bring:
- your old passport
- a signed and dated letter from you, naming them and giving them permission to collect the new passport
- their own ID, such as a passport or driving licence
There are seven passport offices in the UK: Belfast, Durham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newport and Peterborough. From Greater Manchester, Liverpool and Durham are the closest. We can collect the new passport and bring it to your home, office or airport.
1 Day Premium is for adult renewals only. With the 1 Week Fast Track service, HM Passport Office delivers the passport to you by its own courier.

Can you bring my passport to the airport?
Yes. We collect your passport from wherever it is — home, office, a relative's house or a hotel — and drive it directly to your terminal at any UK airport. We agree the meeting point with you by phone before the driver arrives.
How quickly can you collect my passport?
We start looking for the nearest available driver as soon as you call. Collection is typically within 60 minutes, depending on where the passport is and the time of day. We give you an honest arrival estimate on the phone, before you confirm.
Can the driver bring my passport through security to me?
No. Only passengers can go through airport security, so the handover happens before security — usually at the terminal drop-off area or the departures entrance. Leave yourself enough time to get back through security after you have your passport.
Can a courier collect my new passport from a Passport Office?
Yes, for a 1 Day Premium renewal. According to GOV.UK, the person collecting needs your old passport, a signed and dated letter from you naming them and giving permission to collect, and their own ID such as a passport or driving licence. Fast Track passports are delivered by HM Passport Office's own courier, so they do not need collecting.
What do I need to give the driver?
Tell us the collection address, who will hand the passport over, where you want to meet and your mobile number. For a flight, tell us the airport, terminal and departure time. For a Passport Office collection, the driver also needs your old passport and your signed consent letter.
Can someone else hand over my child's passport?
Yes. Anyone who has access to the passport, such as a partner, relative or neighbour, can hand it to our driver. Give us their name and phone number, and the name of the adult who will receive it at the other end, so the driver knows exactly who to meet.
Do you deliver passports at night and at weekends?
Yes. Our operations line is staffed 24/7. In one recent job we took a call at around 22:30 and delivered a passport from Preston to a hotel in Hartlepool at around 02:30, ahead of an 08:00 offshore transfer.
